This tour is a trekking and archaeological exploration experience in an impressive natural setting. It begins very early with pickup in Cusco and a bus journey toward the Acomayo area, where breakfast is served before reaching the starting point of the high-altitude hike (around 4,000 m).
The hike, of moderate difficulty, crosses rugged landscapes with rock formations, lagoons, and abundant Andean fauna such as condors, llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas. The main destination is Waqrapukara, a unique archaeological complex built on a rock formation shaped like horns, which includes terraces, plazas, towers, ceremonial enclosures such as the Intipunku, and evidence like cave paintings.
After the guided visit, the return is made by walking along ancient Inca trails to the transportation point, finally returning to Cusco in the afternoon.
In summary, it is a route that combines adventure, little-explored natural landscapes, and a less-touristy archaeological site that is very impressive due to its location and structure.

During the ride, we will enjoy unique Andean landscapes until we reach the Cocha area (4,000 m above sea level), the starting point of our hike.
The hike, approximately 2 and a half hours long, crosses rugged terrain with impressive rock formations and small lagoons. Along the way, it will be possible to observe local fauna such as condors, llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, wild horses, and Andean birds.

This impressive Inca site is built on a rocky promontory between two horn-shaped peaks, with terraces, retaining walls, and stone staircases perfectly integrated into the natural environment.
Once the visit is finished, we will begin the return hike of approximately 3 hours along an ancient trail until we reach the point where our private transportation will be waiting to return us to the city of Cusco.
