Visitarás lagos y collpas de guacamayos, recorrerás la selva a pie y en bote, subirás torres de observación para disfrutar vistas panorámicas del dosel amazónico y conocerás la riqueza natural y cultural de la comunidad Matsiguenka. Cada día ofrece nuevas caminatas, safaris fluviales y excursiones nocturnas para descubrir la increíble fauna del Manu.

We leave Cusco at 3:00 am in the morning in our private car adapted for the route with mountains and jungle we pass through the Paucartambo valley and a small town of the same name which is a folkloric town known as the folkloric capital of Peru, then we will arrive at the Ajanaco pass which is the beginning of the Manu National Park from this point we will descend to the Amazon jungle ; through a beautiful cloud forest. In this area we will take walks and stops to look for exotic birds of the cloud forest, especially the national bird of Peru, the Cock of the Rock, toucans, quetzals, hummingbirds and mammals, such as: Coaties, woolly monkeys and cappuccinos; With good luck you can see the sloth and the spectacled bear, and a wide variety of flowers and orchids. At noon we will be arriving at the Salvacion Village for our lunch.
Then we continue the trip in a 4×4 traction car adapted for the area and during the trip we will be able to see more birds and different species of monkeys. Arriving at the lodge we will have a short break to take a cool shower and rest a little, then we will go to the mammal clay lick and spend the night in a camouflaged house to see animals during the night such as: tapir, porcupine, deer and other nocturnal rodents. On this day we left the Lodge very quickly and continued our trip in our 4×4 car towards Boca Manu, where we took a motorized boat. Along the river, early in the morning we can see many parrots eating the clay in a parrot clay lick.
This river is located within the Manu National Park and is a very special habitat with very warm waters. The beaches and river banks are the perfect place to see large caimans, such as the black caiman and white caiman, turtles, butterflies and other mammals, and with good luck you can see big cats such as: the Jaguar, the Puma and others. small felines, and a great variety of monkeys of different species, some of them eating clay on the river bank and many birds such as herons, seagulls, skimmers, toucans, macaws, eagles, etc. It will be approximately 6 hours trip with some short stops along the way. This day there we do full activity in the morning we explore the lake on a catamaran, here we can see the Giant Otter (river wolf) these mammals eat between 3 to 5 kilos of fish each day, and there are not many lakes anymore in the Amazon jungle with abundant fish, only in national parks like Manu. We will also see more Caimans, turtles, herons, many species of monkeys in large groups. Then we have the option of going to see the Matsiguenka macaw clay lick, to see the parrots and macaws eating clay, this clay lick is very rich in minerals and for that reason many species of birds and mammals visit frequently to obtain the minerals that they need for their metabolism.
In the afternoon after lunch we visit Otorongo Lake, here we will climb a 20 meter high Tower to see parrots, macaws, eagles, toucans and many birds flying through the treetops and enjoy the panoramic view of the lake. and then we continue exploring this beautiful jungle looking for more species of animals, and the guide explains the relationship between plant, animal, insect and the function of different ecosystems and the medicinal functions of plants. In the afternoon we will arrive to the Lodge, here after a rest we will go out to explore the jungle and do the night walk to look for frogs, snakes, night monkeys, spiders, tarantulas and many insects. This day after breakfast we leave the Lodge and begin to return in our private car to Cusco making some stops for lunch and in places where we can see some animals or birds that we need to see. Arriving in Cusco approximately 6pm. B.L.
